We give children a voice!
“I was afraid but I followed my mother into this big dark truck. They shut the door and it was dark. I thought it will stay dark like this forever.”
Mohammed, 8, Syrian Arab Republic
for they can tell their stories themselves…
“I didn’t want to leave my house, my garden, my kittens, my avocado tree. But father packed our belongings and cut the tree and we left our house and never went back. Because there were the diggers. It was not our place anymore.”
Juanita, 12, Republic of Ecuador
… and create their future themselves!
“When I grow up I will go back and fight. I will not allow anyone to destroy my home. I want to grow my own food and not work in the plantation for a hundred shilling per day.”
Pamela, 11, Republic of Kenya
Child Worthy is a non-governmental non-profit organisation based in Switzerland. We care about children in crisis areas. We aim to give a voice to society’s most vulnerable and precious – children. No matter where and how young they are – every child is worth listening and taking care. We give children’s voices a platform and an alley. We investigate and document children’s situations in conflict zones. We support families and institutions that care for the youngest. Because we believe that children’s futures must be given back to them. Now.
